New Packaging Rules For Saudi Imports

The Saudi Arabian Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) recently notified that from January 1,2020, all products imported into the Saudi market must display a 13-digit barcode on the package. The barcode can be printed on the outer box, or printed as a sticker on the outer box. The barcode compilation rules are set by the factory, and can be compiled according to the product model or series products. From January 1,2020 the invoice and packing list provided at the time of shipment must display barcodes and the invoices must be stamped.
