All Plastic Pump! The New Berry Pump Head Is Made From A Single Polyolefin Containing 70% Recycled Material

At present, a new packaging form favored by brands in the global fast consumer goods industry is the all-plastic pump, which uses green environmental protection plastic material, through the transformation of engineering structure, replaced the spring and glass beads, maintain or even improve the original functionality and consumer experience.

But only Aptar, Berry Global, Rieke and others have developed and manufactured such dispensers.

Berry developed and launched a new recoverable pump head Wave2cc this year. The pump head is produced entirely from a single polyolefin, with no metal parts, and can be physically recycled when paired with PET bottles. The pump head is suitable for e-commerce applications and liquid products with different viscosity to meet a range of personal care packaging needs. This product is the first in berry's Wave line of pump heads, which will be followed by 3CC, 4CC and more.

Berry's Wave2cc design has received A RecyClass A rating and can be manufactured with 70% post-consumer recycled plastic (with FDA's letter of no objection) and is expected to be available by the end of 2022.
