The overseas epidemic is still spreading rapidly. Against this background, a number of overseas countries, including Italy, Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines and Singapore, have declared "country closure" and "city closure" to stop the spread of the epidemic. These policies have also directly led to the disruption of production and logistics in many factories, and the global industrial chain has encountered huge challenges.

Just after the Indian centeral government met with the state governments, It also decided  to close down 75 districts, including the capital, New Delhi, which have been hit hard by the outbreak. All passenger trains, subways and inter-state transport are forbidden to operate, construction activities in city are suspended, religious places are closed and all commercial facilities and factories in the city are closed until March 31 local time.

At the same time, in response to the epidemic prevention and control, the Indian general administration of shipping (DGS) began to implement 14-day quarantine on ships departing from all ports in China and related countries with severe epidemics. The 14-day quarantine time began from the departure of the previous port.

Therefore, in the near future, foreign trade and freight forwarders who have shipped to India must pay attention to it and inform each other, beware of the lengthened time of  goods transportation, as well as to India after the local unmanned pick up, transfer is not smooth!
