On July 1, 2021, DuPont Acquired Laird Performance Materials

Laird High-performance Materials becomes part of the Electronic Interconnection Technology business of the Electronics and Industry Division  

The acquisition will strengthen DuPont's leadership position in the rapidly growing field of advanced electronics applications, supporting key industry megatrends such as high performance computing, artificial intelligence, 5G communications, smart/autonomous vehicles and the Internet of Things 

Dupont today announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Laird Performance Materials, a global leader in high-performance electromagnetic shielding and thermal management solutions.  

Laird High-performance Materials, with 2020 revenues of $465 million and a global workforce of approximately 4,300, will be integrated into DuPont's Interconnect Solutions business in electronics and Industry.  Laird high-performance materials' electromagnetic shielding and thermal management products complement electronic interconnect technology's portfolio of flexible plate materials, dry film, specialty film and electroplating chemicals.
