Philippine Customs Released New Regulations On Imports

Recently the Philippines has upgraded the customs system, introducing new regulations on the HS code, bill of lading number and area code (NATURE CODE 23/24) for imported goods . Offenders will affect customs clearance and generate fines.

1. The name of all goods must be specific and complete, and 6-digit HS CODE must be provided.

2. No letters such as A/B/C/D shall be allowed in the last digit of the B/L number spelling( including the B/L number after unpacking)

3. The Philippine area code (NATURE CODE 23/24)
