South Korea's Gwang City Council Delegation Visited Liaoning Dongsheng Group

     On October 16, Kim Gwang-hee, the president of the Gwangyang City Council in South Korea led a delegation of the Gwangyang City Council to visit Liaoning Dongsheng Group. Wang Jingchun, deputy director of Yingkou municipal people's congress, Zhang Wensheng, secretary general of the municipal people's congress, Jin Yongri, director of Yingkou municipal people's congress and the overseas Chinese affair bureau, an d Yanghui, deputy director of the municipal bureau of commerce and director of the foreign affairs office of the municipal government, accompanied the whole process.

    On the afternoon of the day, Chairman Wen warmly welcomed Mr. Jin and his delegation at the group factory. After visiting the corridor at Dongsheng Intelligent factory, Chairman Wen introduced Dongsheng's corporate culture, development history, industrial layout and new product development and promotion. During the visit, the members expressed strong interest in the environmental friendly products of Dongsheng Group, esp. the bio-based biodegradable agriculture film with independent intellectual property rights and believed that this product would have a broad market prospect in Gwangyang City, a city with highly developed agricultural refinement.  

    Afterwards, the two sides moved to the conference room for further in-depth exchanges. Chairman Wen said that under the leadership of the two municipal people's congresses and the parliament, the enterprise of the two cities have also deepened their exchanges and cooperation and the two sides have forged a profound friendship. At the exchange meeting, Wang Jingchun, deputy director pointed out that in the future, the people's congresses and parliament of the two cities will continue to enhance exchanges and cooperation, write a new chapter in economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea, and promote the in-depth cooperation of the economic sectors to contribute to the economic and social development of the two cities. Finally, Chairman Wen and Chairman Kim gave each other gifts, which marked the long-term friendship and win-win cooperation between the two sides.

South Korea's Gwangyang City and China's Yingkou City have been sister cities for 14 years. Over the years, there are frequent exchanges between the two sides and continuous exchanges and cooperation in economic and cultural aspects. The economic complementarities between the two sides has enabled the enterprises of the two cities and even the two countries to achieve win-win cooperation and benefit a lot. It has set a good example of urban exchange and played a positive role in promoting economic and cultural exchanges between China and South Korea.
