Plastic bags have a new formula soluble in wat

Two Chilean engineers have unveiled a plastic bag in Santiago that is soluble in water and not derived from petroleum, but can still drink the water.

The new plastic bag is a modification of the chemical formula used to make plastic bags.Engineers say the bags can be manufactured anywhere.

Earlier this week, Chile's Senate passed a bill to ban plastic bags from shops, making it the first South American country to do so.
