The plastic ban brought a market demand of 3.5 million tons
The price of waste paper has also risen since China banned the import of solid waste in any form since Jan 1 this year. Visited a number of waste recycling stations, acquisition station staff said that the price of waste paper recycling has indeed risen, especially the price of waste pages recycling is higher. By the end of December 2020, the average price of scrap pages in China has risen to 2255 RMB/Ton, up 15% compared with the end of October 2020.
