    Biodegradable refers to a product breaking down into water, CO2 and natural elements like biomass under the help of microorganisms. The biodegradation time depends on the conditions i.e. environment, location, temperature, humidity, microorganisms and material itself. thus the process time and outcome will be different.

    In another words, everything is biodegradable under natural process, while it will take hundreds or thousands of years for most things.
