Indian New Regualtions On Marine Cargo Manifest & Transhippments

   Indian outward foreign direct tax and customs announced the 2018 marine manifest and transshipment regulation; which will take effect on 1 March 2019 (vessel arrival/departure date). The new regulation changes the deadline and requirements on the arrival of imported goods and the departure of exported goods. The import manifest also called the arrival manifest; Shipping companies are required to submit details of all imports, transshipments and on-board containers to Indian customs before dock at Indian ports. The export manifest also called the departure manifest. Shipping companies will be required to submit details of all export containers to Indian customs before departure or sailing.
