The UK Updated Its Rules On How Gifts Can Be Declared

On18th Feb. 4^th part issued a notice on the Hong Kong DHL channel regarding the declaration of gift entry into the UK. According to the notice, goods imported into the UK as gifts must meet the following 3 conditions: The recipient must be a private resident; the sender must be in the name of a private person (company name or commercial purpose is not applicable); the shipment shall be made in one lot (not multiple lots within one month). In addition, any shipment involving a "fake declaration" as a gift to import, Once found this condition, it will be subject to mandatory destruction or return arrangements (subject to the decision of the UK customs), and all costs and consequences will be borne by the sender.
