New Regulations For Indian Sea Cargo Manifest

Recently, the port of India announced that the goods exported to the port of India must be submitted the postal code of the consignor, consignee and notifier, and the value of the goods must be provided in the manifest information. In addition, the Indian Maritime Cargo Manifest (SCMT) Regulation , which orginally scheduled to take effect in February, was finally offically implemeted on September 16, 2019.
The latest updated regulations stipulate that all goods arriving at Indian ports must include IEC,GSTIN,PAN,HS code and cargon values in the manifest; Amendment, change the bill of lading or change port, must be made 72 hours before arrival at the last foreign port of call in India, otherwise there will be customs fines or departures.
